Editorial policy

Last updated: 15 August 2026

This policy explains how Mahana selects, researches, writes, reviews, and corrects topics.

1. Readers first

Every page must answer a clear practical need. We do not create near-duplicate pages merely to target search terms or extend copy with paragraphs that do not change a reader's understanding or decision.

2. Sources

Priority goes to Saudi laws and government bodies, then official service and platform documentation, then reliable professional references. A changeable claim should link directly to its source where available and identify the review date. An individual experience or social-media post is not treated as a general rule.

3. Career guides

Each guide needs a defined problem and useful output, specific steps, examples, mistakes, limitations, and a checklist. Generic statements that fit any guide are removed, and numbering, headings, and repetition are reviewed before publication.

4. Specialties

We distinguish an academic field from an occupation and explain responsibilities, skills, work context, qualifications, and projects. Salary information requires a source, date, and context; employment demand is not presented as permanent.

5. Review and updates

Language, links, and changeable claims are reviewed. A material update changes the review date. A verified material error is corrected and the misleading version is not knowingly retained.

6. AI and automation

Digital tools may help organise material or detect repetition and errors, but they are not sources and do not make content “reviewed”. New or materially changed guides stay draft and unreviewed until an editor checks and explicitly approves them. Names, numbers, links, and changeable claims are checked against original sources.

7. Advertising and independence

Advertising does not control editorial opinion or recommendation order. Ad units are visually separated from content, and affiliate links or sponsorship are disclosed where present.

8. Corrections and contact

Email the page URL, error description, and supporting source to mihnah111@gmail.com. Reports are reviewed; a suggestion is accepted only after verification.

9. Publisher identity

General material is published by the “Mahana editorial team” to identify the publishing and editorial function. This does not imply an undisclosed individual endorsement. When a writer's or reviewer's identity and expertise materially affect trust, the page should show a clear profile and role.
